Podsumowanie projektu SEVEN SENSES
Podczas spotkania z młodzieżą Klub Pomorania zaprezentował wyniki projektu, m.in. publikację która była wynikiem prac uczestników seminarium i została wydana w celu podsumowania działań.
W drugiej części konferecji odbyły się dwa bloki tematyczne. W pierwszym omawiano Program Młodzież w Działaniu oraz możliwości jakie on daje młodym ludziom którzy chcą zrealizować swoje pasje.
Drugi blok tematyczny przyjął formę forum plenarnego podczas którego młodzież przybyła na konferencję oraz organizatorzy zastanawiali się nad przyszłymi projektami oraz wymieniali pomysły.
Projekt został zrealizowany ze środków Uni Europejskiej, funduszu Programu Młodzież w Działaniu, Akcja 1.1

Projekt Seven senses of Kashubia 2011 realizowany przez Klub Studencki Pomorania dobiega końca..
Chcielibyśmy jednak jeszcze raz przypomnieć sobie nasz wielki sukces jakim było zorganizowanie seminarium w Ostrzycach i podsumować tegoroczny projekt.

Another day of the exchange has passed. Today there was an evaluation of the project; the participants could assess the organization of the exchange. They enumerated both positive and negative aspects of the project. In the afternoon we had a trip to Wdzydze Kiszewskie with its open-air Ethnographic Museum. Apart from sightseeing, we were taken back to the pre-war times and participated in a real school lesson. There was also a meeting with Shirley Mask Connolly (Curator of the Polish Kashub Heritage Museum, Wilno, Ontario, Canada), who told us about the situation of Kashubs in Canada. We ended the day with a farewell party.

On Friday we started our day with a presentation by Madlenka Kowar on the Youth of European Nationalities, an organization associating national and ethnic groups. “Pomorania” Student Organization is one of its members. After the presentation, we listened to a lecture about Kashubs in Canada. In the afternoon we went to Łubiana to participate in Łubiana Summer Culture Carnival and to present each minority to local people and tourists. One could taste delicacies from the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland. In the evening there was a concert of Marcysia Szreder and of a Kashubian folk band. There was also a pantomime on the history of Kashubia, a fireshow and a dancing party with a Zumba dance lesson.

Today, legislation workshops on the rights of national and ethnic minorities were preceded by a speech by the President of the Kashubian-Pomeranian Association (Zrzeszenie Kaszubsko-Pomorskie), Łukasz Grzędzicki, who presented the legal and administrative situation of minorities in Poland, with a special emphasis put on the situation of Kashubs. In the afternoon, we visited Chmielno with its ceramic museum and an exhibition of Kashubian musical instruments. We closed the day with a football match: Kashubians vs. the Rest of the World, and with a barbecue.

The main point of the programme of today was the capital of Kashubia – Gdańsk. Split into groups and equipped with a map and helpful hints, the participants of the exchange took part in a field game, thanks to which they could see the monuments of the Old Town and get to know its over-thousand-years-long history.
The participants got to know the activity and history of the Kashubian-Pomeranian Association (Zrzeszenie Kaszubsko-Pomorskie), the largest non-governmental organization in Pomerania, in the building of the Kashubian House (Dom Kaszubski), the seat of this Association, but also of the Kashubian Institute (Instytut Kaszubski) and of a Kashubian restaurant called Mestwin. The Manager of the Office of The Main Board of the Kashubian-Pomeranian Association, Łukasz Richert, spoke about the functioning of this unit.
Apart from that, our foreign guests visited the “Roads to Freedom” exhibition in the European Centre of Solidarity.

The topic of today were local media functioning in national minorities and ethnic groups. The workshops were conducted by workers of Kashubian media: a Kashubian periodical (Pomerania), Kashubian radio stations (Radio Gdańsk, Radio Kaszebe) and a Kashubian-Pomeranian broadcaster (CSB TV). During group working, the participants were asked to write a few different articles on one cultural event that was important for their minority, taking into consideration different audiences. Next, we walked along the educational path from Ostrzyce to Wieżyca, and we visited the Centre for the Education and Promotion of the Region in Szymbark. In the evening, another project partners presented themselves (Germans from Hungary, Poles from Czech Republic).

Today the participants took part in workshops on the
history and the sense of identity of minorities. The workshops were conducted
by a specialist in the field of the history of Kashubia, dr Michał Kargul. We
also heard presentations of two minority ethnic groups: Sorbs from Germany and
Frisians from the Netherlands. As planned, there was also a cruise on the
Ostrzyckie lake. In the evening the participants played numerous integration
games.
